The “B&B Del Giglio” is a scenic and romantic Bed and Breakfast located in the medieval village of San Donato in Poggio, a town in the heart of Chianti, close to Florence, in fabulous Tuscany.

The apartment is part of the town’s medieval wall, which was transformed into private homes during the late Renaissance. Extraordinary care was taken during the apartment’s recent renovation in order to preserve its original appearance.

In our B&B, guests enjoy the feel of an exclusive and sophisticated resort enriched with a beautiful panoramic garden. The two bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, have been smartly furnished with antique Tuscan furniture, yet include a state of the art TV-set and air conditioning. Florence, the “Culla del Rinascimento - Cradle of the Renaissance” is just 28 km north, while Siena is 38 km south and San Gimignano is only 20 Km far. You can also reach Arezzo, Lucca, Pistoia and Pisa within an hour’s drive. Those who love sports and nature can try the numerous bicycle routes and paths in the surroundings of the B & B to quickly grasp the enchanting Tuscan countryside.
