The B&B Del Giglio is situated in San Donato in Poggio (Municipality of Tavarnelle val di Pesa) in the region of Tuscany, province of Florence. It is a small medieval village on the top of a hill, at 418 meters, in the heart of the Chianti (area of the famous wine production Chianti Classico - Gallo Nero), surrounded by vineyards, olive trees, oaks and pine woods. The B&B is situated half way between Florence (Km28) and Siena (Km36). The apartment is situated in the medieval village, between the Florentine Door and the Bell Tower. In the village there are several shops and services: Two Banks, Post-Office, Pharmacy, Physician, Several Restaurants, Two “Pizzeria”, Groceries, Garage, Woman’s hairdresser, Bar, Cinema/Theatre, Tabocconist, Newsstand, Internet Point, Tourism office, Buses for Florence and Siena, Car Repair, Gas Station. |

| By CAR | Highway A1 to Florence, exit at “Firenze Impruneta”, follow the signals for Siena (take the Firenze-Siena speedway, that you will find, on the right, at mt.100 immediately after the tollgate). | By AIRPLANE | From Florence Airport (FLR): We can come and pick you up by car (service available only for a minimum stay of three nights) given your communication of your time of arrival in advance. Take a Taxi from Florence Airport to San Donato in Poggio; You can take a urban bus from the airport to the SITA autobus-station in Florence and take a bus to Tavarnelle Val di Pesa – San Donato in Poggio.
From Pisa Airport (PSA): take the train to Florence, we will come and pick you up at the train station of Florence Santa Maria Novella (service available only for a minimum stay of three nights) after receiving communication of your arrival time at Florence's train station.
